Orgachim invests €500,000 in its production base in Ruse
Orgachim, a Bulgarian paint and varnish manufacturer, will invest 500,000 euros in its production base. The company has begun the implementation of two large-scale projects. One is for the improvement of an industrial wastewater treatment facility, and the other is for the improvement of working conditions at its production base in the city of Ruse.
Along with the development of new, improved products, we systematically invest in sustainability to protect nature and take care of the health of our employees ", says Nikolay Nikolov, deputy executive director of Orgachim.
The company has submitted an investment intention for a project worth 350,000 euros, which foresees the addition of new facilities and capacities to the treatment of industrial wastewater.
Wastewater generated in the Lakov manufacturing workshop is subject to treatment. After treatment in an existing facility, the water is then taken, together with cooling water from industrial processes, household sewage and rainwater, to the treatment plant of Orgachim Resins AD.
Orgachim`s intention is to separate the sewers of the two subsidiaries with each of them treating its own wastewater and then discharging them into the city sewer.
The second initiated project, called "Ventilation Systems of the Lakov workshop of Orgachim AD”, aims to improve working conditions by building a new ventilation system in said workshop. The project has a total value of 160,000 euros, with 70% of the funds being provided by Orgachim, and the remaining 30% being taken over by the Working Conditions Fund of the Bulgarian Ministry of Labor.
